Hey everyone! After Aroma Essentials sent me their products, my hair care regime changed for the better. Ever since acute hormonal changes resulted in a bitter hair fall, I realized the importance of regularly providing the hair roots with nourishment. Stocked up on oils and serums, and the AE hair kit added to it. That’s also when I chanced upon the Juicy Chemistry Hair Serum and reviewed it on the blog. Now I have almost made a vow to provide my hair follicles and strands with sheer organic goodness. Wholesome organic and pure. No sulphates or harmful chemicals.
Why I say ‘almost’ is because, I’m whimsical. 😛 Not my fault but now, Geminis are whimsical. 😛 I may want to color my hair someday, or maybe just style them at salon. Although I have kept my mane away from blow driers and heat for quite some time now, but to be honest, I do use my Philips hair dryer on the rarest of occasions and on its lowest temperature. On days when the sun fails to show up despite attempts and it rains incessantly, and I have to wash them hairs. Else there’s nothing better than air dried mane.
Hi people! First of all, a very big sorry to all you lovely readers for not posting anything since long. I had a lot going on at the personal end, and work pressure at office peaked. Could catch up with hardly six hours of sleep at night. Some days, even less. I wasn’t looking and feeling the best over the past few weeks and blogging took a backseat. And I hated it.
I was dying to write. Dying. Not a day went by when I didn’t look forward to a blank canvas and wanted to scribble my heart out! This space is my own, and writing liberates me. And I’m so glad to be back. 🙂 I have a hoard of product reviews wriggling inside my head. That I’m going to share with you by and by. But let me start off with this wonderful Chocolate and Milk Scrub from Aroma Essentials. 🙂
Not My First Stint with the Brand…
I had used their face mask before that B got me from B’lore, and loved it to bits. This kind lady Madhurima then sent across quite a few products for me to try out. And yes, I ain’t compelled to review any of them. 😀 The reason I’m doing so is ‘cause I want you people to know that vegan products exist, and they’re available big time! And as long as wizards like Madhu and the Ashers (names behind Juicy Chemistry) exist, magical concoctions are bound to happen. 🙂 Read more
Hail all bibliophiles! There’s a new subscription box in town! Well though not literally in your town, but these guys ship at your doorstep. 😀 The avant-garde I talk about here is The Literati Box. 🙂 I love books, and love assorting them. I dream of building a library someday. Even when I cannot read up a book, I know they will be my food for thought in my later years. Serenity and books. Ah such plans… 😀
I love the concept of subscription boxes. The beauty subscription boxes have been the talk of the tinsel town, and now there are forays of the same concept in literature. I came across The Literati Box by word of mouth and was excited beyond words. 😀
Hi everyone! Today I have another bath soap from Fuschia for review. This is the Lavender Buds variant and the fourth in the set of five soaps that I bought from Myntra. I have previously reviewed their Honey, Bentonite Clay and Saffron Buds variants.
Product Description :
Love the benefits of lavender
The fragrance helps you relax,
Helps headaches go away.
Lavender is known for its uses –
The set of 5 is available for INR 1125 and a single piece of 100 g for INR 250. It is available on Vkare’s own website and on other e-commerce sites as well. Often the soap sets are available on discount.
So after I have expressed my opinion on the external features of the product in Part-I, let me continue with exactly how the product performs. 🙂
The Results on me :
So one evening, I put it to test by applying it over my irritated scalp. The first thing that I noticed was the instant cooling sensation that this serum provided me. It soothed my inflamed scalp. That was so relieving to feel after months of struggle with an angry, itchy scalp and constant hair loss. It did make my hairs little oily, but it was different from oiling my hairs. Surprisingly, I didn’t face a lot of hairfall post applying this serum. But I still kept my fingers crossed. Read more
