Hope you’re still reeling in the festive fever. I think I’m too, because just as much I have nothing to do with Halloween, I just had to snatch the opportunity to do this post. I prefer going easy on makeup most times, but in today’s post I have looks that we all should try, at least once in a while! It took me quite some courage to step out of my comfort zone, and create some dark looks with a dose of Gothic. But again, a few of them are subtler versions that you can categorize under fall makeup as well. For a look or two, I put my creative hat on and let Pinterest inspire me. 🙂
I won’t be elaborating a lot on the base, as there’s a lot to talk about the color cosmetics. The base makeup has the Colorbar Perfect Match Primer, L’Oreal True Match Concealer, Maybelline Fit Me foundation and The Body Shop Fresh Nude Cushion foundation. Also for all the looks I kept my brows really stark and used the darkest shade from the MUA Brow Kit. It is a dark brown that works pretty well for me.
Hey everyone! I’m so excited about today’s post. 😀 MAChas an array of colored In Extreme Dimension mascaras as a part of its new Work It Out collection. Colored mascaras! Ever thought of trying them? Nope. I for one never did. But when it’s MAC, and a new collection that has no less than SIXTEEN shades to choose from, it’s quite difficult to resist. 😀
The last day I went to Quest Mall, I did think of checking out their collection, but more than half of them were sold out. 🙁 Not losing hope, I hopped online on to Nykaaand glad to find twelve of the shades there! So this time I dared to take a step ahead from my comfort zone, and picked up 5 of these pretty, colorful mascaras. 🙂 The colors being a bright blue, a purple, a brown, a green and a RED! I am so glad I took the courage to buy a red mascara, because I got to try something totally new without looking OTT. 🙂
