Hi everyone! I attended the #LipLoveRemix event by Estee Lauderat Quest that I shared with you here. The event mainly focused on how to create innumerable lip looks with the different shades and textures of the newly launched Pure Color Love Lipsticks. There are 4 finishes – Ultra Matte, Edgy Cremes, Shimmer Pearls, Cooled Chromes– a total of 30 shades! Now that’s what I call grand. 🙂
I took my pick from the Ultra Mattes and Edgy Cremes, ending up with four shades. Well I got mine from Nykaa even before attending the event. But I was super excited to learn how to adorn lip colors with a twist, the major reason why I was so keen on attending the event. 🙂
Hi everyone! The Quest Mall in Kolkata was the home to an interesting event hosted by Estee Lauder India this Saturday, the 10th of June. The #LoveLipRemix event was first of its kind in Kolkata and I could not afford to miss it. 😀 It was an event open to all and had blogger and YouTuber Debasree Banerjee as its guest. The sole aim of the event was to show how you could mix and match the thirty amazing shades in the newly launched Pure Color Lipsticks range, to perk up your lip game by a notch. 🙂
Estee Lauder has been a mark of sophistication over the years. However this time, with the new lipstick range, EL has the millenials its on radar. 🙂 Have you checked out Elle King’s Wild Love feat. Kendall Jenner for the Pure Love Lipsticks? Give a hit on YouTube, and take a look. I am totally in love with the number. 😀
The Pure Color Love Lipstickscome in four unique finishes, the Ultra Mattes, Shimmer Pearls, Cooled Chromes, Edgy Cremes. With the diversified finishes and shade options, Estee Lauder encourages all of us to play not only with lip colors, but with textures as well. I will jot down the few points that I took away from this event, and from makeup maestro Sadaf herself. She’s the education executive at Estee. She had the attendees awe-struck as she deftly carved out the best colors and looks for them. 🙂

Hi everyone! Hope the start of the week is being fair to you. But ugh the ugly temperatures! Sigh. There’ so little we could do about this. But I highly recommend all of you to keep yourselves well-hydrated at the moment. These times also need us to take good care of our skin and hair. 🙂
MACkeeps launching new collections every now and then. Sometimes they come up with limited edition or brand new products, while at others they revamp the packaging of a few raved about products in their permanent line and launch them anew. Nevertheless MAC has always ensured that there’s something lucrative about all their launches. And they do it so well every time!
They had only launched the Colour Rocker Lipsticks last month, in a plethora of hues unimaginable. There were yellows, lavenders, and grays and greens. No, these ain’t my cups of tea. But certainly the matte finish of the range was something I fell for. No color range is complete without the scarlet family now, are they? Hence I picked up two shades from this range – Carmine Rouge and Forbidden Sunrise. 😀
Hi everyone! Liquid lipsticks and lip crayons are the rage these days. Only recently I talked about the amazingly affordable bunch of lip crayons from Lakme. Almost every brand has launched something in either of these categories. Some has both. 🙂 Bobbi Brown has intelligently combined both these trends into a single product – its Art Stick Liquid Lips. The look and feel is very much that of a crayon, but the product is essentially a liquid lipstick. 🙂
Bobbi Brown had created waves with its Art Sticks, that were raved about all across the beauty universe. Taking the legacy further, it created a more convenient version of lipsticks, combining the crayon and liquid formula in a single Art Stick Liquid Lip. I have not personally experienced the Bobbi Brown Art Sticks, but I was intrigued by its Art Stick Liquid Lip concept. So picked up the shade English Rose.
Hi everyone! Hope you are having a great week. 🙂 Over past few years we have seen the increase in production of lip crayons from various brands. There has been Clinique’s Chubby Sticks. And there has been Sugar, that initially launched with just four lip crayons which took the Indian market by storm. Bobbi Brown had her own range of Art Stick pencils, that were further innovated, resulting in the very unique squeezy tubes of Art Stick Liquid Lips. 🙂 Clinique recently went overboard with the crayon trend, and launched the Crayola range of Chubby Sticks in collaboration with Crayola crayons. The resemblance of the two seems so uncanny. But I’m eyeing them nevertheless. 😀
Within all the hype around lip crayons, there emerges our very own Lakme, with its very own range of lip crayons! And at an incredible price of INR 185! Want more? As an introductory offer, Lakme is providing a sharpener with each lip crayon for free! 😀 OMG OMG. These lip colour crayons came as such a surprise and shook the nation’s beauty industry. There is not a single soul out there who is not raving about this launch. Well even I am. 🙂
