Hi everyone! Just as I said, I’m back with another Innisfree sheet mask review. 🙂 This time it is the Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask in Strawberry variant. I bought this for INR 100 from Nykaa.
Product Description :
What it is
Get supple and translucent skin with the strawberry It’s real squeeze mask!
1. It’s real squeeze mask – strawberry
Strawberry helps make your skin bright and supple.
2. Jeju green complex
The Jeju green complex consists of green tea, tangerine, cactus, camellia leaves, and orchids to keep your skin healthy.
3. Triple-layered sheet
This triple-layer sheet has a long-lasting moisturizing effect so that the essence can gradually be absorbed into the skin.
How to use
1. After washing your face, gently apply toner on your face to even out your skin texture.
2. Then, apply the mask over your entire face, avoiding your eye and lip areas.
3. Remove the mask after 10-20 minutes and gently pat your face to allow the remaining formula to absorb into your skin.
Ingredients of the Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask Strawberry :
Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Niacinamide, Ethanol, Betaine, Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Fruit Extract, Strawberry Juice (200mg), Xanthan Gum, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Tangerine Peel Extract, Orchid Extract, The green Tea Extract, Camellia Leaf Extract, Prickly Pear Extract, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance
My Overview of the Product :
The Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask Strawberry comes packaged in a white packet with scrumptious strawberries imprinted on the front, and instructions, ingredients and price in both English and Korean languages at the back. Like I previously described in the tea tree mask review here, the strawberry sheet mask too comes folded neatly and drenched with serum. The fragrance is strong but not overpowering and on applying the mask over the face, there’s this initial chilling sensation that instantly soothes and relaxes the skin.
It is advised to keep the mask on for 10-20 minutes but I keep it on till the mask dries and starts coming off from the ends. That’s around 40 minutes. The fit of the mask is not wide enough to cover my face up to the ears, and that’s the only con I find with this. After taking off the mask, there’s a lot of serum left on the skin surface. This I gently massage and then tap in for better absorption. The immediate visible effect is fresh, radiant skin with a healthy dewy glow, which I quite like. I do not immediately wash my face and let it be for the next 5-6 hours.
Innisfree describes each of the It’s Real Squeeze Masks as having triple-layered sheet. This basically helps retaining all that serum in the mask and infuses the same in the skin. The strawberry sheet mask did not have a lot of skin problems to deal with, but just imparted the much needed relaxation and glow to my face that I had been missing after 10 days of using the tea tree one (reviewed here). My face was definitely feeling very hydrated and nourished from within. I even discovered a recent blemish from an acne looking comparatively lighter on close observation. The effect lasted on me for around 4 days that’s good given the price and ease of use. 🙂
Some more about the Ingredients :
Strawberry Juice – Strawberries are rich in Vitamin C that in turn is known for improving skin texture and for production of collagen. Strawberries cleanse the skin, removing excess sebum and at the same time providing the much needed moisture to the skin. They also contain anti-oxidants and help minimize appearance of wrinkles, but I can’t really comment if this sheet mask does that. 🙂
Grapefruit Extract – has natural anti-microbials and anti-oxidants.
Tangerine Peel Extract – beneficial for oily skin as it controls excessive oil secretion and treats acne and scars.
Green Tea Extract – excellent for troubled skin; has anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory properties and is a natural source of anti-oxidants; helps reduce pores and clean the skin from deep within.
Camellia Leaf Extract – well-known for its skin soothing, anti-ageing properties; also contains fatty acids.
Prickly Pear Extract – encourages skin renewal, stimulates collagen production, restores elasticity and is known for its quick absorbing and skin nourishing properties.
The Final Verdict :
I’m quite satisfied with the results from using the Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask Strawberry, although on comparison, I like the tea tree one more. But it’s good for a weekly treatment to pamper tired skin. I’m even glad that the strawberry mask did not break out my oily-combination skin. But yes, I did intentionally use it at this time of the year when I don’t have a very oily T-zone. The good thing about these sheet masks is that they are free from parabens and come infused with goodness of natural ingredients. I love the way they make my skin feel and now eyeing the other variants as well. 🙂
My Rating : 4/5
