Hello everyone! Sheet masks have quite become a staple for me these days because I find them so handy. Not only are they easy-to-use, they also give that freshness and glow to the skin which could be a perfect pick-me-up when skin looks dull and tired. Today I will talk about the Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask in Pomegranate. I have already reviewed their Strawberry, Tea Tree and Blackberry in my previous posts, and it’s time I bunch them together in my Sheet Mask Chronicles series. 🙂

My Overview of the Product :
The Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask Pomegranate comes in a sleek white sachet with printed pomegranates, which is quite in line with the packaging of the rest other masks in this range. The triple-layered mask is drenched with serum and I apply it post cleansing and toning, as is directed.
The mask has a standard fit with eye and mouth openings, but I have a round face and it doesn’t cover me all the way up to the ears. I used the previous masks in winter when my skin would feel parched, and kept them on for around 40-45 minutes to let the complete serum soak in. But as we move towards the hotter months and the winds have started carrying some moisture, I find my T-zone getting oily while the rest of my face still feels dry. My oily-combination skin behaves real weird during the transition times between seasons, so I tend to be careful in handling it at this time. Therefore with the Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask Pomegranate, I did not risk keeping it on for more than 25 minutes. Please note that Innisfree asks to have it on for 10-15 minutes only. 🙂
The first thing anybody notices on putting the sheet mask on, is the cooling sensation that feels so refreshing on tired skin. The Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask Pomegranate doesn’t have an overbearing fragrance and I quite like it. Although these sheet masks are comfortable enough to get you working through errands during the wear time, but I prefer to fake a slumber to really de-stress myself. 🙂 After 25 minutes when I took it off, the mask had almost dried up on the forehead and chin regions but was still damp on the rest part. Nevertheless I discarded it because the last thing I’d want is to let it break out my skin. Thereafter I massaged the serum sticking to the surface of my skin in circular motions till it totally seeped in. Well that’s the norm with these sheet masks.
The immediate noticeable effect post using this mask is a bright, radiant complexion that looks young and feels fresh. The Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask Pomegranate did a good job in giving a good, taut feel to the skin as well, but that was only very temporary. What lasted was the radiance for the next 4 days. Furthermore, it sufficiently hydrated my skin and treated a dry patch on my cheek. The best part? It didn’t break me out! 🙂

The Final Verdict :
The Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask Pomegranate does a beautiful job in firming and hydrating the skin. The triple layers in this mask hold on to a lot of moisture that is soaked in the skin relieving dryness. The toning and firming effect is little temporary, so this mask can be used just before a special occasion when you don’t have the time to spare for a parlor ritual.
This sheet mask imparts a vibrant, youthful look to the skin, and makes it feel recharged and nourished from within. Skin feels soft and plump to touch and as I always say, these sheet masks also impart a dewy glow to the skin that looks really nice. 🙂 I also like the fact that it has a major percentage of natural ingredients and is comfortably priced as well. Moreover, it didn’t break out my overly sensitive skin at this time, so I can actually build my trust on this one!
My Rating : 4.5/5
