Argan Oil for Skin : Aroma Essentials Argan Day Serum – My Experience and Review

Hi people! Hope you’re doing good. I’m really excited about this post because today I will talk about a wonderful serum from the house of Aroma Essentials. 🙂

About the Serum :

Contains – Argan, Bergamot, Apricot carrier oils, essential oils of carrotseed, rosemary, lavender and patchouli, shea butter (in very small quantity)

Basic Functions –

Hydration, increased nourishment, skin brightening and acne prevention. Madhu calls this a serum even when it is majorly composed of oils, because face oils too have around 5% to 10% of oils, while this product has more concentrated quantity of the active ingredients (upto 70%).

Serums have been an integral part of my skincare routine since years now. However I have mostly restricted them to my night time regimen. So I was really happy to treat my skin to the concentrated goodness of serum, even beneath a sunscreen!

Dry, Rough Patches on Skin? This is how I Treated them…

Hi people! Winters have finally made up their mind to bid adieu, and I am relieved. I know I know, so many of you love winters, but I’m more of a tropical person. 😀 Nevertheless winter has its pros – lush fresh veggies – I love them. But the winter this time has been harsh on my skin. I got dry patches on my arms, that felt rough and bumpy to touch, near shoulders and I was in a state of shock, having incurred them the first time ever. Living in a warm, humid climate almost made me so-not-used-to so much dryness. This time however, it was testing. 😐

I did some research to identify the causes behind my skin conditions. I needed to find them because I needed to combat the dry patches at the earliest possible, as they were getting uncomfortable day by day.

Following could have been the reasons behind the rough, patchy dryness (any or all could apply) :

Taking hot showers frequently
Pores getting clogged from silicones in moisturizers
Dehydration
Constant friction of skin with woolens

Plum Chamomile & White Tea Calming Antioxidant Toner : Review

Hi people! How you all doin’? Winter is paving way to the spring, and I’m elated! Winters call for a change in my skincare routine, and this year winter has been harsh. So I was really having trouble with my skin, and tried using as many organic products as I could to help my skin cope up with the dryness.

A major switch was in the toner, and I started using the Plum Chamomile and White Tea Calming Anti-oxidant Toner. I had been religiously using the toner for type 3 skin from Clinique that worked great in extreme humidity, but the drier months needed something gentler. Aroma Essentials Rose Body Butter : Pure Nourishing Goodness for the Skin – My Experience and Review

Hi everyone! Did you start your year with a bang? Or are you still reminiscing in the glories of 2017? Whatever it is, winters are here to rule still a few weeks and I’m basking in my stash of body moisturizers. 😛

I’m a huge…umm…die-hard? Fan of body butters, and nothing delights me more than a handcrafted one. And the one with an amazing fragrance (it takes a good deal to convince a TBS body butter fanatic on the fragrance part).
